Golf Tips From A Golf Pro09/08/2017 Are you having trouble keeping the ball online? Or are you about to fall over after you hit a golf shot? Well, look no further because you might just have a little balance issue. This is a very common problem to have and I have a couple of quick tips that just might straighten out those missed opportunities on the golf course. These tips are based on a right handed golfer. Remember, proper balance is important. It will help with both striking the ball correctly and with the direction of the ball’s flight. The first tip is to remember is that when you are standing over the golf ball at address you should feel totally balanced. What I mean by this is to make sure that you keep the weight distribution in the center of your feet. You don't want to have all your weight on your toes. If you do, more often than not you are going to hit the ball to the right of your target. If you have all the weight on your heels, you will most likely pull the ball to the left of your target. So, find that perfect spot in the arch of your feet to keep your weight centered. The second tip is on your follow through remember to “pose for the camera”. By this I mean you should hold the finish of your golf swing for a second or two without falling over. By “holding that pose” you confirm that you have the proper swing balance. Try these tip and I am sure you will find your shots going straighter to your target. Good luck! Timothy D. Hess Director of Golf Operations Work: 440-543-3752 Ext. 3
